Quick answer
Can an AI chatbot recommend WooCommerce products?
Yes. The Clientager plugin reads your WooCommerce products, including prices, stock, categories, tags and attributes such as colour and size. When a shopper asks for, say, "a black tee in medium", the chat replies with matching products as cards with a photo, the price and an Add to cart button for simple products (a View button for variable ones). It only mentions products, prices and stock that are really in your store.
Why product questions go unanswered
Most shoppers who ask a question are close to buying: does this come in my size, is it in stock, which one is better for a gift. On a small store those questions arrive in the evening and at weekends, when nobody is there to reply. A generic chatbot that only knows your FAQ cannot help either, because the answer is in your product data, not on a page.
Clientager learns your products directly from WooCommerce, ranked by what sells best, so the questions shoppers actually ask can be answered with the products you actually have.
How the product cards work
When the AI mentions a product, the chat shows it as a compact card: photo, name, price, and an Add to cart button for simple products that takes the shopper straight to your cart. For variable products, the card links to the product page so the shopper can pick the variant. The AI can show up to three products in one reply and keeps track of what it already showed, so "any others?" brings new options instead of repeats.
It understands what shoppers mean rather than matching exact words. "Half sleeve" finds short-sleeve tees, "dark red" finds maroon or burgundy, and a typo such as "hoddie" still finds hoodies. If the exact item is not available, it suggests the closest products and says how they differ, instead of a flat no.
- Photo, price and Add to cart (simple products) or View (variable products)
- Colours, sizes and other attributes read from your products
- Stock-aware: it says when something is out of stock
- Up to 100 products on Lite, 300 on Starter, 1,000 on Growth and 5,000 on Scale
Greet shoppers at the right moment
A short greeting bubble can appear a few seconds after a page opens, with a different message on product pages ("Questions about this product? Ask me."). Optionally, the bubble can also pop up when a visitor on a computer moves to leave. It shows once per visit, is set in Chat widget and can be switched off at any time.
See the sales the chat helped make
When a shopper who chatted places an order, the plugin marks the order, and the Overview shows Sales made by AI: the number of orders and the revenue from shoppers who talked to the chat first. It is a simple way to see whether the chat pays for itself.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. The AI knows each variable product's attributes (for example colours and sizes) and links to the product page so the shopper can choose the variant. Add to cart in the chat itself is for simple products.
What if my store has thousands of products?
The AI searches your catalogue for each question rather than reading everything at once, so it stays fast. How many products it learns depends on your plan, best sellers first.
Does the chat know about new products?
Yes. During the trial and on every plan, the AI updates itself about a minute after you save a product.
Can it answer shipping and returns questions too?
Yes. It learns your pages and policies as well as products, so it can answer delivery, returns and payment questions from your own text.
