Data Deletion
Last updated: 30 October 2026. This page explains how to delete data held by Clientager (TechShah Co., 3175 Chawri Bazar, Delhi 110006, India). See also our Privacy Policy.
If you connected WhatsApp or Facebook
Businesses connect their WhatsApp Business number to Clientager by signing in with Facebook. To remove that connection and the data that came with it:
- In the Clientager dashboard, open Chat, WhatsApp & email and click Disconnect next to WhatsApp. We stop receiving and answering messages at once and delete the access token we stored.
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Meta Business Suite → Settings → Integrations), find Clientager and remove it.
- To delete the WhatsApp conversations Clientager saved for your business, email privacy@clientager.com from your account email with the subject “Delete WhatsApp data”. We confirm within 30 days.
If you have a Clientager account
Email privacy@clientager.com from your account email and ask us to delete your account. We confirm by email, cancel any plan, and delete or anonymise your account data, conversations, contacts and settings within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep (such as invoices). You can ask for an export of your data first.
If you chatted with, called or messaged a business
The business you contacted decides what happens with that conversation. Ask them to delete it, or email privacy@clientager.com with the business name and your phone number or email address, and we will pass your request to them and help them delete it.
If you used our WordPress plugin or Shopify app
Deleting the plugin, or uninstalling the Shopify app, disconnects your site. Shopify asks us to delete store data 48 hours after uninstalling, and we do. To delete the rest of your account, follow “If you have a Clientager account” above.
