How do I know if my Shopify chatbot increases sales?

Clientager marks the cart of every shopper who chats. When that shopper places an order, it is counted under Sales made by AI on the app's Get started screen, with the number of orders and the revenue for the last 30 days. You can compare that with your plan price to see the return.

How attribution works

When a shopper chats with the assistant, their Shopify cart is tagged with that chat. If they then place an order, Shopify tells Clientager and the order is counted, with its value, under Sales made by AI. It covers orders placed after a chat in the same browsing session and cart.

Reading the numbers

The card shows orders and revenue from shoppers who chatted first, over the last 30 days. It is a conservative, simple measure: it does not claim credit for shoppers who never chatted, and it does not try to estimate what they would have done otherwise.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Shopify's own reports?

Shopify's reports show all sales; Sales made by AI shows the subset from shoppers who chatted first.

Does it work for WooCommerce too?

Yes, the WordPress plugin shows Sales made by AI for WooCommerce orders. See /wordpress.

Why does the app read orders?

To count these sales and to answer order status questions. It never changes orders.

Can I export the data?

The card shows the summary; your orders remain in Shopify for detailed reporting.
